Seven Seas Splendor® is the next iteration of luxury cruising, from her elegant décor to the crowning Regent Suite — she is luxury perfected.

Skiathos, Greece
You won’t find bare, rugged hills on this most popular of the Sporades Islands. Be prepared instead for pine-forested mountains sloping down to some of the most dazzling, white-sand beaches in the Aegean. Skiathos Town is the heart of the island, a cosmopolitan capital of narrow whitewashed alleys, restaurants and quaint tavernas. North of the town on a rocky headland stands the remains of the island’s medieval capital of Kastro, abandoned since 1830 but once a pirate-proof village. Visit the 18th-century Monastery of Panagia Evangelistria for a glimpse of Greek revolutionary history – it was here in 1807 that several heroes of the War of Independence took the Oath of Freedom.

Istanbul, Turkey
Once serving as the capital of the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires, Istanbul today offers impressive architecture, historic sites, dining, shopping, nightlife and exotic atmosphere. Spend time in the Old City to explore renowned places, like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.

Cesme, Turkey
In this truly delightful corner of Turkey, ‘resort town’ means far more than the clear blue seas, golden sands and sweeping seafront promenade that make Cesme a popular weekend retreat for locals. In 2021, researchers unearthed a sixth-century B.C. temple dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite, and the ancient ruins of seventh-century BC Erythrai are easily accessible. You can’t miss the magnificent Cesme Castle, built in 1508 to protect the city but today a place for stunning harbor views. Nearby Alaçati, with old stone houses converted into trendy boutiques and cafes, is a perfectly Aegean spot to sip Turkish coffee and watch windsurfers skim waves.

Santorini, Greece
With dramatic views of classic whitewashed houses clinging perilously to the side of the caldera and stunning beaches of white and red sand or black pebbles, it’s no wonder this may be the most photographed scenery in the world. Visit Ancient Akrotiri, the archeological site of a town frozen in time by ash from an eruption 3,600 years ago. Also worth a day trip is the Volcano of Santorini Palea (old) Kameni and Nea (new) Kameni , two small islands of black lava positioned in the centre of the basin of Santorini.

Amalfi/Positano, Italy
Discover chic Positano with its relaxed, sophisticated air and white Moorish-style houses clinging to steep slopes around a sparkling bay filled with colorful fishing boats. Then visit enchanting Amalfi and admire the 12th-century Capuchin monastery and see the beautiful 11th-century Cathedral and cloister before exploring on your own. Browse Positano’s boutiques for the town’s locally made casual cotton clothes or search for unique souvenirs in Amalfi. Enjoy delicious fresh seafood and pasta or tempting pastries and espresso in a spectacular seaside, mountainous setting.

Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Whether enjoying the street performers at the Spanish Steps and people-watching over a fine glass of wine in colorful Trastevere, or taking in the historical and architectural glory that is Rome, visitors are spoiled for choice in this truly Eternal City. St. Peter’s Basilica is a full-day outing, featuring the Sistine Chapel and panoramic city vistas for those willing to climb to the top of the dome. Other landmarks not to miss include the renowned Trevi Fountain, the Coliseum, and Aventine Hill, which provides you with a grand view of the imposing remains of the Imperial Palaces and the Circus Maximus, of Ben Hur fame.

Monte Carlo, Monaco
Tiny, but packed with fun, Monte Carlo offers a wonderful combination of history, beauty, entertainment and leisure. The wealthiest spot in Monaco, Monte Carlo is an enchanting place, known as the international capital of luxury and for its celebrity-sightings, casinos and nightlife. Yet the old world shines through in its art and architecture. Palaces, cathedrals and museums dot this small municipality in an old town full of rich history. Be sure to catch the once-daily changing of the guard, then tour the public areas at the Palais du Prince, home to the royal family, whose most famous resident was famous actress Grace Kelly.

Barcelona, Spain
One of Europe’s most visually stunning cities, Barcelona balances the medieval intimacy of its Gothic Quarter with the grace and distinction of the wide boulevards in the Moderniste Eixample. It was the home of architect Antoni Gaudí, whose Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Park Güell and Casa Milà are the most profound statements of Modernisme. View the splendid works at the Picasso Museum and the Miro Foundation, or discover Barcelona’s passionate ambiance at a flamenco show.

Alicante, Spain
There is something for everyone in Alicante. The historic Mediterranean port city is located in renowned Costa Blanca, within the region of Valencia. From outdoor cafés to white-sand beaches to museums that house rare masterpieces, this town has everything one would expect of a Mediterranean escape. Be sure to visit the picturesque town of Guadalest, one of the most unique destinations in all of Spain.

Granada (Motril), Spain
Sunny Motril along Spain’s Costa Tropical is a pleasant gateway to Granada, the last stronghold of the Spanish Moors and one of Europe’s most storied cities. Tucked away among the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Spain’s Andalusia region, its top draws are a pair of UNESCO World Heritage sites: the astonishing Alhambra palace complex, once the opulent seat of Granada’s Nasrid emirs and site of the finest Islamic buildings in Europe; and the Albaicin, the old Arab Quarter and medieval heart of Granada. Wander narrow, cobblestoned streets full of dazzling architecture, colorful shops, lively flamenco shows and hidden restaurants that uphold the Andalusian tradition of complimentary tapas with wine.

Seville (Cádiz), Spain
Cádiz, Andalusia's world-renowned capital, has undergone major restoration in recent years. Palm trees, gracious squares, flower-filled parks, ubiquitous red-tile roofed buildings, and bustling street markets make this a most delightful port. The old town, on the tip of the peninsula, is buzzing with beautiful, lively plazas. To get there, you pass through the new town, an elegant metropolis with excellent beaches. Cádiz is also a good starting point for a day trip to nearby Seville, where you can visit the Alcazar, a beautiful medieval Islamic palace showcasing a unique fusion of Christian and Moorish architecture surrounded by lovely gardens; majestic Seville Cathedral (Catedral de Sevilla); and Giralda Tower, offering excellent photo opportunities.

Funchal (Madeira), Portugal
Madeira is described as the “Island of Eternal Spring.” Entirely volcanic in origin, the soil combines with the mild climate to produce an abundance of green as well as multicolored vegetation. The rugged landscape, scenic fishing villages, magnificent vistas and ideal climate bring the island fame as a year-round resort. Before leaving this panoramic Atlantic isle, be sure to sample a glass of the famous Madeira wine.

Ponta Delgada (Azores), Portugal
Savor the unparalleled natural wonders of this splendid volcanic island located at a crossroads in the Atlantic. See its stunning landscape, thermal pools, natural steam vents, volcanic lakes, subtropical flora, plantations and picturesque towns filled with perfectly preserved 17th and 18th century buildings.

Horta (Azores), Portugal
The volcanic islands of the Azores create a natural aquarium in the middle of the Atlantic between Europe and North America. Whale watching, sport fishing, paragliding, and yachting are popular pastimes. Stroll by the beautiful marina and stop in to legendary Peter Café Sport - a restaurant, scrimshaw museum, post office and necessary stop for all sailors.

St. John's, Newfoundland
One of the oldest English-founded cities in North America, St. John’s is the perfect blend of small-town charm and big-city comforts. Wander down narrow streets lined with colorful row houses. Visit Quidi Vidi, a charming village-within-a-city that embodies the spirit of an old fishing port. The Rooms culture center, home to a museum, art gallery and archives, stands next to the twin clock towers of the impressive Basilica of St. John the Baptist.

Corner Brook, Newfoundland
Start by taking in the breathtaking view from the monument honoring Captain James Cook, the first to map the area in 1767. More history awaits you in the Corner Brook Museum and its marine artifacts, forestry exhibits and collections from aboriginal people. The breathtaking Humber Valley is just outside the city, an ideal location for skiers, hikers and anglers.

Québec City, Québec
Prepare to be thoroughly charmed by this great historic city. The only walled metropolis in North America provides a taste of authentic, profoundly French culture. Stroll the cool cobbled streets of Basse-Ville with its outstanding 17th- and 18th-century architecture, graceful parks and delightful sidewalk cafés. Head over to the Rue du Trésor where many local artists display and sell their artwork. Discover Place Royale, a beautifully restored market square and the green-turreted castle of Château Frontenac, Québec’s most celebrated landmark. Stop for spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River, Île d’Orléans and the Laurentian Mountains at Dufferin Terrace.

Montréal, Québec
The diversity and rich cultural heritage of Montréal never ceases to captivate the traveler. Take a horse-drawn carriage through the Vieux-Montréal, the largest collection of historic buildings in North America. Browse the shops and boutiques along the 19-miles of neon-lit corridors of the Underground City. Explore the exquisite works on display at the Musée des Beaux Artes or walk part of the Jardin Botanique, the largest Chinese garden in North America.

Saguenay, Québec
Surrounded by verdant mountains and high plateaus, Saguenay with its breathtaking scenery, is Canada’s only navigable fjord, and its rich eco-system draws pods of visiting whales, seals and seabirds. Nestled among the flowering hills discover some of the most picturesque villages in Québec. Saquenay is the travelers portal to a host of activities including: kayaking, power boating, whale watching and hiking amid simply gorgeous surroundings.

Sydney, Nova Scotia
Poised on Cape Breton Island, Sydney is your gateway to the scenic and historic attractions of the Cape Breton Highlands, and the incredible Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, Canada’s largest historical reconstruction. Once known as the “Gibraltar of the New World”, the Fortress of Louisbourg, site of momentous 18th-century battles between the competing empires of France and Great Britain, has been restored to exactly as it looked in 1740. Sydney charms the traveler with harbor views along The Boardwalk and at the nearby summer home of Alexander Graham Bell, now an enlightening museum.

Halifax, Nova Scotia
Welcoming travelers to an innovative and historic cityscape, Nova Scotia’s Halifax offers excellent dining and friendly maritime smiles. Tour Halifax Citadel or take a stroll along the historic waterfront or through the delightful Public Gardens, the oldest Victorian gardens in Canada. Lobster and seafood are local specialties and always tempting to the taste-buds.. The Micmac Indians, called the area ‘Chebuctook’, meaning Great Long Harbor and the city’s ideal location on one of the largest natural harbors in the world made it a strategic asset for convoys in both world wars. Scenic Dartmouth lies on the opposite shore and can be visited by crossing on the oldest saltwater ferry in Canada.

Saint John (Bay of Fundy), New Brunswick
Explore the sophisticated urban delights of Canada’s oldest incorporated city and its extraordinary natural wonders in Saint John and the Bay of Fundy. Discover the area’s Loyalist heritage and shipbuilding industry with a visit to the New Brunswick Museum. Enjoy the Victorian Architecture as you stroll to the Old City Market. Look for maple syrup, local handicrafts, hard cider and other food items and souvenirs. With the world’s highest tides, head out to view the thrilling natural wonder of the water as it roils and swirls literally reversing the river’s flow during the change from low to high tide.

Portland, Maine
Sophisticated, yet down to earth, the seafaring City of Portland represents the heart, soul and strength of this bustling port. The warehouse district features wonderful restaurants where you can savor succulent, freshly caught lobsters and other treasures from the sea, pubs featuring a multitude of micro-brewed beers, art galleries, shops and museums. Not to be missed is a visit to the Maine Historical Society’s beautifully restored 1789 Wadsworth-Longfellow House and Gardens, the Maine Historical Society Museum and Brown Library, a three-in-one cultural bonanza, all just a short stroll from the city center.

Boston, Massachusetts
Home to more colleges and universities than any other city in the United States, Boston has been the intellectual capital of America for more than 350 years. Step into the past along Boston’s Freedom Trail, leading you through some of the most interesting chapters in U.S. history: the site of the Boston Massacre, the Old South Meeting House, Faneuil Hall, and Beacon Hill. You will discover 16 of America’s major colonial and revolutionary sites in all, and all within a 1.5-mile walk.

New York, New York
The ‘City that Never Sleeps’ beckons — renowned museums and sites galore by day; the glittering sophistication of clubs, theaters and restaurants by night. Explore Chinatown, Greenwich Village, the United Nations, Central Park’s Museum Mile and Wall Street’s towering steel and glass monuments to commerce, then hop into a cab for an afternoon of world-class shopping along Park and Fifth Avenues.
