The blissful beaches in Phuket, Thailand, are next, before Port Blair, a remote island in the Andaman Sea that is well off the tourist trail. After two days at sea, our next stop is Hambantota, with its botanical gardens, then we sail to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling capital. We set a leisurely pace spending a day sailing to Cochin, then another day sailing to Goa’s serene shores at Mormugao.
