Our voyage begins in the buzzy Sri Lankan capital, Colombo. First, we sail to Hambantota, where the country’s captivating wildlife can be spotted in an array of national parks. Next is Trincomalee, one of Sri Lanka’s oldest cities, renowned for its sacred temples and beautiful beaches. After two relaxing days at sea, India beckons, with a stop in Port Blair in the Bay of Bengal giving us access to the wildlife-rich Andamans. Another sea day brings us to Thailand, where we experience Phuket, which delivers cultural diversions, beaches, and a party spirit, before we sail on to Malaysia – first to the foodie haven of Penang and then to multicultural Malacca. Finally, we disembark in Singapore, where sampling the street food is a must.
