Cruise Description |
4 Night Cruise sailing from Greenock roundtrip aboard Hebridean Princess.
As we emerge from winter into spring, join us at the start of the 2026 season, exploring the beautiful Clyde Coast visiting spring gardens, a tiny cathedral and an island distillery. Cruising the sheltered waters of Loch Fyne, relish the tranquillity of this magical region from the warm comfort of the delightfully small Hebridean Princess.
Sail Britain's longest sea loch, the picturesque Loch Fyne, which extends 40 miles inland from the Sound of Bute and forms part of the coast of the Cowal peninsula. The sparkling waters of Crarae Burn form the centrepiece for a woodland paradise garden of rocky gorges, wooden bridges and thickets of maple, birch and evergreens, blending with sprays of flowers.
The idyllic fishing village of Tarbert plays host to morning walks. Known as the gateway to the Kintyre peninsula, the natural harbour is still home to a working fishing fleet. Take a stroll up to Robert the Bruce's 14th century ruined castle to appreciate the panoramic vistas over East Loch Tarbert.
Discover the coastal village of Tighnabruaich, a magical corner of Argyll off the beaten track. Travel to the splendid viewpoint to the north of the village which overlooks Loch Riddon and the Kyles of Bute.
Ashore on Arran, a tour of the new distillery at Lagg will add to your appreciation of peated malt. They are working to bring a contemporary style to traditional methods of whisky production. Our final visit is Great Cumbrae where we find Britain's smallest cathedral, the Cathedral of the Isles, which dates from 1851 and seats only 100 worshippers. It was built on ground owned by the Boyle family, and its founder, George Frederick Boyle, later became 6th Earl of Glasgow. |
