7 Night Cruise sailing from Oban roundtrip onboard Hebridean Princess.
Food & Drink Interest cruise.
Scotland is rightly proud of its reputation for its wonderful natural larder and those who produce mouth-watering creations. Join Hebridean Princess, on this gastronomic voyage, as we explore the wonderful culinary offerings of the Highlands and Islands.
Enjoy a tour of Isle of Mull Cheese, a resourceful, family- run dairy farm on the Isle of Mull which produces 100% sustainable energy to create award-winning cheese and spirit, ahead of a visit to the most remote pub on the British mainland, the Old Forge at Inverie.
Steaming into Loch Dunvegan, a guided tour of the oldest continually inhabited castle in Scotland, precedes lunch at the world renowned Three Chimneys Restaurant. North to Gairloch where the local museum, housed in a converted nuclear bunker, showcases the history, culture and natural heritage of this beautiful area.
Enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea at the Torridon Hotel, nestled in secluded splendour and set amidst spectacular scenery before sampling hand crafted spirits at the Isle of Raasay's first legal distillery. Pausing a while for tranquil walks on the sacred isle of lona, we plot a course for Colonsay where we meet the man who supplies Hebridean Princess with oysters and learn about his other passion - honey and the black tailed bees he keeps.
Indulge your culinary cravings at the Isle of Eriska hotel, a destination to savour the highest quality of local, seasonal produce from handpicked suppliers. Our adventure concludes with a private Champagne reception at Duart Castle, hosted by Sir Lachlan Maclean, Chieftain of Clan Maclean. |
