Guest Speaker James Naughtie:
James Naughtie is one of the country's best known broadcasters - a special correspondent for BBC News, formerly a presenter of the Today programme for 21 years, and the host of Bookclub on Radio 4 since it began nearly three decades ago. A newspaper career established him as a political correspondent and commentator, and at the BBC he became one of its most prominent interviewers and correspondents, reporting from home and around the world. He has written books on politics and classical music, a memoir on travels and encounters in America over half a century, and three espionage novels. He is a native of north east Scotland.
